Derbyshire and the Peak District continue to tantalise taste buds, with several of our restaurants garnering prestigious nods in the recently published 2024 Michelin Guide.

Celebrated at Manchester’s recent ceremony, the highly sought-after Michelin Stars shine brightly on Derbyshire’s culinary scene.

Stones in Matlock draws plaudits for its “unfussy, modern British dishes” with “Mediterranean touches,” while The Old Vicarage in Ridgeway impresses with its “sophisticated dishes, boasting assured flavours and subtle modern influences.”

For those seeking grandeur, Fischer’s at Baslow Hall, housed within a “fine Edwardian manor house,” offers “original, modern dishes with Mediterranean influences.” An intimate ambience awaits at The Lighthouse in Boylestone, where “ambitious modern dishes” tantalise discerning palates.

Lee Smith’s Lovage in Bakewell charms with its “chatty, informative team” and “top-quality, modern menu,” while The Pack Horse in Hayfield tempts with its “hearty pub dishes” elevated by a “refined edge.” Finally, The Blind Bull in Little Hucklow wins praise for its “concise menu,” featuring “refined classics with a focus on flavour” and catering to vegetarian preferences.
