Watercolour Workshop at Wheeldon

We enjoyed a morning of mindfulness and watercolour painting last weekend when the Little Sweet Pea Studio joined us at Wheeldon to run a watercolour workshop.

Visitors travelled from across the region to learn to watercolour in our Long Room. With views towards Chrome Hill and Dragon’s Back, it was the perfect location to soak up the natural landscape and leave any stresses of life behind.

Little Sweet Pea Studio

Emma-Jayne Bourne runs Little Sweet Pea Studio, usually offering watercolour workshops from her own home in Derbyshire. However, she travelled to Wheeldon join our guests and visitors for a morning of painting.

Emma-Jayne is passionate about being creative. She has loved drawing from a young age and holds a degree in contemporary arts.

If you would like to run a craft workshop in our Long Room in 2023 give us a shout. We plan to run our hugely successful wreath-making classes again this Christmas but if there’s anyone local who also runs classes, please do make contact.
