New beginnings at Wheeldon Trees Cottages
STEVE AND HAZEL BECOME THE NEW CUSTODIANS OF WHEELDON TREES
Hello to all our new friends and followers.
We’re delighted to be the new owners of Wheeldon Trees. In years to come when people ask us how we coped with a national pandemic and a third consecutive lockdown, we will be able to tell them we found comfort in the Peak District hills and instead of investing in therapy, we purchased a beautiful retreat of holiday cottages!
We would like to start by saying a huge thank you to Martin and Deborah for all their help this year. We hope they agree that the sale was smooth and thanks to them, the transition has been swift. We would like to wish them the very best of luck for their next adventure in life.
In the coming weeks and months we will be investing further in the cottages. We know that in the last year life has been hard for everyone and we plan to put our hearts and souls into Wheeldon Trees to create happy holiday memories for friends and families for many years to come.
Our first project will be the refurbishment of the farmhouse, to allow us to provide even more luxury holiday accommodation for friends and families to enjoy. You can follow our refurbishment journey on our social media channels – primarily Instagram and Facebook.
Life will certainly be different going forward for our family, but we are looking forward to every minute. Steve will be your main point of contact and will focus full time on the cottages. He’s recently left corporate life and at the same time as throwing himself into Wheeldon Trees, he will be trying to squeeze in time on his bike! Hazel will support him at weekends, but will continue with her own work during the week running a successful PR and advertising agency. From time to time various children may pop up – there are five in total ageing from 24 down to 12. Twelve’s not too young to clean right?!
A huge thank you once again for everyone’s support. We look forward to meeting you all.
