Games Room

As part of our renovations at Wheeldon Trees, 2022 saw us completely refurbish our games room, also known as The Long Room.

We’ve given it the Wheeldon Trees treatment with new oak flooring, signature branded wallpaper, comfy velvet easy chairs and of course, lots of games. Scrabble, Monopoly, Chess, Checkers, Connect Four, Jenga or simply a pack of cards – you name it, we’ve got it.

There’s something for the whole family, whether you’re looking for pool, ping pong and air hockey or board games, books, maps and class DVDs.

Open 24 hours a day, the Long Room also features a huge family dining table, private kitchen and bathroom. Many groups choose to eat in the Long Room to bring their family and friends together. For larger groups staying with us, we’ve also been known to host the odd birthday party.

The room is also perfect for private meetings if you are looking to bring work colleagues together instead of the usual chain hotel. Our friends at Sauced Here can also cater for your family dinner or meeting. In the last few months, Sauced Here have brought in Indian, Italian and British chefs to cater for our guests.
