Dog-friendly Critchlow Cottage is a charming English country cottage sleeping three people. It is on two floors with open plan living downstairs and one double and one single bedroom upstairs. The cosy cottage sits in one of Derbyshire’s most stunning valleys, nestled under High Wheeldon. There’s an honesty shop, locally-made Wheeldon Trees Peak District toiletries and a games room. Our linens have the highest of thread counts and our towels are fluffy and white. We offer Voltshare EV charging, our own roasted High Wheeldon Rising fresh coffee and super-fast zooming.
The upstairs contemporary bathroom has a walk-in shower and there’s a private south-facing patio just outside. If you love walking, you can bag a trig by climbing to the top of High Wheeldon directly from your cottage’s front door. If you need a midnight snack, our honesty shop has luxury chocolate treats, local artisan ice cream, organic pasta sauces and a whole host of other award-winning treats. If you’re working while with us, feel free to use our dedicated workspace – a luxurious office under the trees with the most amazing views. It’s free to use and has super-fast wifi and a printer.
