Paul’s business,  myguidedwalks.co.uk, offers a range of guided walks, experience days and navigation training in the Peak District, from easy strolls to more challenging hikes. The walks are led by Paul who is an experienced and knowledgeable guide who is passionate about the area and its history. Paul is a qualified Mountain Leader and also trained in first aid and has an in-depth knowledge of the local flora and fauna.

The website is full of useful information and you can book online. There’s a detailed description of each walk, including the level of difficulty, the duration, and the distance. It also includes information on the meeting point, the route, and what to bring. The walks vary in length from two hours to a full day, and some of the longer walks include a pub lunch or a stop for afternoon tea.

myguidedwalks.co.uk also offers bespoke guided walks, where you can create your own itinerary with Paul’s help. This is a great option if you have a specific area you want to explore or if you have a group with different interests and abilities.

Mountain hare experience

Paul is currently taking bookings for Mountain Hare experiences. Mountain hares are extremely rare and the Peak District is their only remaining home in England. There are two experiences to choose from – a photography experience or a discovery experience.
