Bookings now open for the Farmhouse

We are delighted to announce that we are now taking online bookings for The Farmhouse at Wheeldon Trees – our new luxury self-catering cottage set in the heart of the Peak District National Park.

The Farmhouse is a true English country cottage and is perfect for family holidays or for friends looking to get away and have some fun in the beautiful UK countryside. It features a woodburning hot tub and has three double bedrooms. Downstairs there’s a lounge, snug, reading room, powder room and farmhouse kitchen. Flagstone flooring is featured downstairs, and the new luxury farmhouse kitchen features navy blue shaker units and local Derbyshire granite worksurfaces.

Upstairs, the main bedroom has original wooden beams and an ensuite with walk in shower and vintage tiling. Pride of place in the main bathroom is a free-standing pink bath. The bathroom also has a walk-in shower. Every Wheeldon Trees cottage boasts luxury toiletries from The White Company for you to use during your stay. Each of the three bedrooms has room for either a z-bed or cot.

Outside, the Farmhouse has its own enclosed cottage garden which includes a patio area and a wood-burning Swedish hot tub.

As with every Wheeldon Trees self-catering cottage, all guests have access to our honesty shop, laundry, free EV charging and use of our electric bikes.

All Wheeldon Trees visitors receive a welcome pack upon arrival which includes a jute tote to take home with you and milk, eggs, butter, chocolate lollypops, fruit cake, tea bags, a bag of our own roasted High Wheeldon Rising coffee and a bottle of something nice to get your cottage holiday off to the best possible start.

We have been renovating the Farmhouse since June and we’re very nearly finished. If we can open up bookings for the remainder of 2021, we’ll do this, but at the moment, we’re only taking bookings for 2022 onwards.
